In recent years, Shelley Smoler has led award-winning campaigns for brands like Amazon, BrewDog, Uniqlo, and Diet Coke, quietly carving out a spot for herself as Droga5 London's first female Chief Creative Officer. Known for multi-channel work that makes a social impact and entertains and engages audiences, Shelley has been globally recognized for pushing the boundaries of commercial creativity. One of her proudest moments was using bank notes to create the provocative, highly acclaimed Black-pencil-winning "Trillion Dollar Campaign" for The Zimbabwean. A familiar face at advertising awards shows, both as a recipient and as a jury member, she enjoys taking a break from her gentle, everyday demeanour to advocate violently for good ideas in a South African accent that has remained surprisingly intact throughout a decade in London. As a creative leader, Shelley is committed to nurturing young talent within creative departments, knowing that this is the only way a new generation of creative leaders will write their own biographies in the third person, hopefully as soon as possible.
