Rosie May Bird Smith
Creative , Havas London
Rosie May is a writer and creative at Havas London. Specialising in scriptwriting, film craft and humour, she has produced a range of high-profile campaigns for some of the world's largest and most influential brands. Since joining in 2018, she has played a defining role in Havas London's creative resurgence – creating award-winning and talked-about campaigns for the likes of Durex, Tilda, Vanish, Heinz and Citroën. Most recently, she told an 'Uncomfortable Truth' for Durex – breaking the fourth wall to hilariously tackle misrepresentations of the female sexual experience and picking up a raft of industry accolades in the process. Prior to Havas London, Rosie May worked at sister agency Havas People – where she headed up large recruitment campaigns for universities and charity work for the likes of Women in Business and the British Antarctic Survey. In her spare time, she is also a journalist and reporter for Creative Conscience – the global creative community and not-for-profit organisation dedicated to making positive change through creative thinking. Whatever guise it takes, her work is always interesting, unexpected, and personified by a certain wit – reflecting her determination to make consumers laugh, or at the very least sit up and pay attention.
